Family Medicine Residency Prospective Students

Medical Students

We believe students learn best by doing, not watching. Students who rotate with us are afforded significant responsibility with supervision from senior residents and attentive faculty during their full spectrum Family Medicine rotation. With our supervision, students evaluate patients independently and review their plans with senior residents and faculty. Students are expected to learn effective charting and participate actively during team rounds and outpatient clinic. Faculty and residents participate in a morning report every morning at 7:15 a.m. and have bimonthly education days, which include lectures by residents, faculty, and specialists and hands-on simulation workshops. Continuity of our patients provide experiences in the clinic, inpatient ward, labor and delivery as well as opportunities in sports medicine, pediatrics, minor procedures, and night team. If you are interested in joining Womack Family Medicine Residency for a rotation please see the information below.

Welcome to the team!
