Command Sergeant Major Fredrick Gibbons, enlisted in the United States Army as a Medical Logistician upon which he attended Basic Training at Fort Benning, Georgia, and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Sam Houston, TX, where he was awarded military occupational specialty 68J, Medical Logistics Specialist in March of 2002.
His previous duty assignments include the 10th Combat Support Hospital, Fort Carson, Colorado and Camp New York, Kuwait. as a Medical Supply Specialist; Camp Shelby, Mississippi, as the Troop Medical Clinic Supply Noncommissioned Officer-in-Charge; Eisenhower Army Medical Center, Fort Gordon, Georgia, as the Operations Cell Noncommissioned Officer-in-Charge; Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Noncommissioned Officer-in-Charge of the Logistics Support Branch, Property and Materiel Management Divisions. Additionally, he performed duties as the Brigade Logistics Officer-in-Charge and deployed in support of three Humanitarian Operations to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic; Martin Army Community Hospital, Fort Benning, Georgia; and has performed as the Brigade Operations Noncommissioned Officer-in-Charge of Schools and Training, Noncommissioned Officer-in-Charge of Logistics Division.
