Mask and Visitation Update
Effective December 29, 2025


- All patients, visitors and staff 2 years or older are required to wear masks in all Waiting Rooms and Patient Care areas due to an increase in respiratory illness cases within our community.

- Implementing this policy helps protect both patients and staff and minimizes the potential for outbreaks within the facility.

Masking Requirements
  • All Waiting Rooms and Patient Care Areas
  • Emergency Department
  • Fast Track
  • Pediatrics

- Additionally, patients with respiratory symptoms are required to wear masks in all areas of the hospitals.

- Masks are available at each entrance and check-in desks.
- Visitor Restriction
  • Children younger than age 12 are not permitted to visit patients in Womack inpatient, nursing units, or Emergency Room.
  • Parents are discouraged from bringing children younger than 12 to the hospital or outpatient clinics unless the child has an appointment or procedure. The restrictions will be in effect until further notice.
