Whether you’re on or off duty, keep in mind how dangerous operating a vehicle in adverse weather conditions can be. Take the time to prepare yourself and your vehicle before any work-related or personal trip. Factor in extra time for the trip and carry extra winter-related items in case the worst happens. You may not start your trip in bad weather, but conditions can change rapidly. Be prepared.
