Fast Track services treat non-life threatening health issues that require immediate attention, such as sprains, the flu, colds, and other common illnesses.

Emergency Care
If you are experiencing a life-threatening medical situation (including mental health emergencies), call 911 immediately or visit Womack Army Medical Center if it's your nearest hospital.
Emergency care services treat life-threatening medical issues such as threats to your life, limbs, sight, or safety.
Our Emergency Department is a state of the art medical facility with caring trained military, contract, and government providers who are board certified in emergency medicine. Our nurses are also specialty trained and experienced in triage and emergency care. Our facility is comprised of two units within our department, The Emergency Department (ED) and the ambulance section. Both units are staffed around the clock, 24/7, 365 days a year.
Registration
Clerical or non-clinical staff are responsible for registering vital information about your identity. They will:
- Uniquely identify you
- Enter and update your demographics, i.e., address, telephone number
- Record and obtain insurance information
- Provide follow up appointments as requested by the Emergency Room Provider
- Record detail information for your work or school if required
