About Us

Clinical Investigation Division

In addition to providing the highest quality health care, Womack's mission is to maximize the medical deploy ability of the force.  The Department of Research enhances this capability by supporting the research efforts of 17 professional and graduate medical education training programs at Womack as well as the ongoing research efforts on Fort Liberty.

Due to our location and mission, Womack investigators have the ability to integrate clinical and military specific research unlike any other institution in the country.

Research Support

Our services include protocol development, statistical support, institutional review board and scientific review, publication clearance, and grant management.

Mission

Provide tools, training and expertise required to develop clinicians and scholars who engage in intellectually rigorous, safe and ethical conduct of research which advances the science of military medicine.
