We hope this page helps you better understand how we, as Health Benefits Advisors, can be of assistance to you and your family navigate TRICARE and any issues that may arise.

We are an extension of Womack Army Medical Center (WAMC) and not of TRICARE. Therefore, we are limited in capabilities that TRICARE East’s Manage Care Support Contractor Humana Military is privy to.

We are here to serve you and your family, and we sincerely hope to be a vital part of your Military Health System experience!

What do we do?

Beneficiary Counseling & Assistance Coordinators (BCAC)

·         Serve as Beneficiary Advocates & Advisors

·         Coordinate with MHS Points of Contact

·         Educate Beneficiaries

·         Research Health Care Concerns

·         Resolve Concerns

·         Identify Systematic Problems

Debt Collection Assistance Officer (DCAO)

Make every effort to distinguish between letters from providers or medical facilities stating intent to forward an unpaid claim for collection action and those that are actual letter from collection or credit reporting services.

Assist beneficiaries in determining whether the basis for the underlying debt or collection notice is valid, in whole or in part, based on documentation from the provider or collection agency.
