Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program

The Womack Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program is a fully accredited, full scope, active, and engaging four-year program training at Fort Liberty. Our doctors practice the full scope of the specialty and are the surgical specialists of the dental profession, with specialized knowledge in hard and soft tissue trauma of the head and neck, orthognathic, temporomandibular joint surgery, facial cosmetic surgery, pathology and tumor removal, reconstruction, and dentoalveolar surgical procedures including removal of teeth, implant placement, and bone grafting. Our team is training in the administration of general anesthesia and IV sedation, allowing us to maximize patient comfort and safety in an office setting.

The residency program is designed to provide the best possible didactic and clinical education to meet the requirements for certification by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and to become a knowledgeable and competent practitioner. Four board-certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons comprise the in-house faculty and routinely publish and lecture nationally and internationally on their sub-specializations within the profession.
