The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.
If you have a scheduled appointment or other business at the MTF, please verify with your provider or applicable office within the MTF to ensure there are no changes in schedule. To learn how the lapse in appropriations affects your TRICARE benefit, visit

About Us

Duty Hours

The Clinical Psychology Residency Program (CPRP) ensures that residents receive the required supervised experiences necessary to function independently as clinical psychologists, as well as to meet all guidelines set forth by the American Psychological Association (APA). This is understood to be a minimum of 52 weeks or 2000 hours of supervised experience during the training year.

The Department of Behavioral Health and all other rotation sites, typically have duty hours equivalent to a 40-hour work week.  However, for residents to obtain the maximum training value, a minimum of 45 hours per week is typically necessary. Normal duty hours for trainees are therefore Mon - Fri: 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., and include 60 minutes for lunch. Residents are not required to perform night call duties.
