The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.

The Pediatrics Primary Care Clinic Waiting Room will be closed from November 6 to November 14, 2025.
Alternative Waiting Room space during these dates will be located at the Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) waiting room, situated next to the Pediatrics Clinic. 
Alternative Waiting room space will be limited. We are requesting that patients bring only legal guardians to appointments, there will be no space available for visitors or helpers to sit or stand.

Womack Army Medical Center's Annual Maternity Fair 2023

In-person and virtual Maternity Fair will be held Saturday, April 29, from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the All American Entrance.

The occupational therapists at the Womack Army Medical Center Intrepid Spirit Center perform multiple in-office cognitive and motor tests or screens that have been shown to correlate with one’s ability to operate a motor vehicle. Each screen has a passing standard.

Womack Army Medical Center has a 118-vehicle fleet, the third largest in the Defense Health Agency. One of those vehicles does more than get a person or cargo to their destination. It is a rehabilitation vehicle that builds confidence for a service member, diligently working to regain independence in their life after a traumatic brain injury.

This service known as tele-critical care is a new tool that provides the best possible care, day and night to critically ill patients by utilizing experts in the medical field who can get them help immediately.
