PET/CT Scans Now Provided

Womack Army Medical Center's Nuclear Medicine Services will now provide PET/CT (positron emission tomography/computed tomography) scans for service members, retirees, and their families, until October 1, 2023. In the past, these services were referred to the network locations outside of Womack.

PET/CT scans are used mostly to detect the stages of cancer, the effectiveness of chemotherapy and radiation treatment. WAMC offers this service to create ease and access to patient care. For additional questions, please speak to your provider.
