Fort Liberty holds 7th Annual Special Victims Summit: Unspoken Truths

At the 7th annual Special Victims Summit, 450 community partners gathered to reflect on their progress and look towards the future, on Dec. 6, at the Iron Mike Conference Center.

Collaboration leads to innovation: Joint Inpatient Dialysis Center opens at WAMC

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held at Womack Army Medical Center signifying the official opening of the Joint Inpatient Dialysis Center on Dec. 1. This collaborative effort between WAMC and Fayetteville North Carolina Veterans Administration Health Care System began in 2018 and came to fruition on June 9, 2023.

WAMC learner presents at AANA Annual Congress

The passion for learning, growth, and excellence propelled registered nurse 1st Lt. Hannah Melkun, who is in her final year of the United States Army Graduate Program in Anesthesia Nursing (USAGPAN, to become involved in research. She was then selected by the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology (AANA) to represent Womack Army Medical Center (WAMC) at the 2023 Annual Congress in August.
