WAMC 2025 Nurse Summer Training Program a Success

FORT BRAGG, NC-- The Nurse Summer Training Program (NSTP) is a 29-day clinical internship designed to provide Reserve Officer Training Corps Nursing students an opportunity at an authentic, first-look into the lives of Active-Duty Army Nurse Corps officers. The Cadets are assigned to a military treatment facility (MTF) and precepted by an Army Nurse officer. They are introduced to the duties, roles, responsibilities, and expectations of an officer and given the opportunity to provide hands-on nursing care in a variety of patient settings. For most Cadets, their nursing internship is preceded by the physically and mentally demanding 35-day Cadet Summer Training event. NSTP provides the ROTC nurse cadet the opportunity to coalesce the leadership lessons learned from CST into the hospital setting.

Fort Bragg Soldiers have Increased Access to Care with New Physical Therapy Clinic

FORT BRAGG, NC—Womack Army Medical Center celebrates a significant milestone as we open the physical therapy clinic embedded in Clark Health Clinic today, May 15, following a decade-long initiative to establish full scope physical therapy services within the clinic. “This allows Soldiers to complete their medical services within one footprint,” said Capt. Jessica Tan, Officer in Charge of Clark Physical Therapy Clinic. “By increasing access to care and managing musculoskeletal injuries more effectively, the clinic will contribute significantly to the overall readiness and deployability of service members.”
