The philosophy of childbirth education is to empower patients through knowledge in a series of six (2-hours each) classes in the Weaver Auditorium that include education on labor, delivery, breastfeeding and newborn care. Expecting parents are provided the knowledge, skills and additional resources to successfully parent. The new skills gained provide an ability to relax in the knowledge achieved. Once empowered and relaxed, expecting moms experience decreased pain sensation and increased confidence through education.
Due to COVID-19 and State Guidelines our Childbirth classes are currently paused, classes will resume in December.
